This Saturday on the White Oak Community Day will be taking place! It will begin with the opening ceremony at Heritage Hill Park at 11 a.m. and ends by a firework display to conclude the evening. The Whammies
The Remains The Remains Cincinnati located 80s tribute band They have provided top quality musical entertainment for the past thirty years. They’ve created a unique sound and are committed to musical excellence. They cover 80s music as well as classic and pop music. Their energy and passion can make anyone in the crowd dance! On this particular day, the Whammies will play classic 80s hits from the 1980s.
Music & Movies at Miller Park
On Saturday, June 11, the music and movie series returns to Miller Park. Live entertainment Food trucks, and art vendors will be present within Miller Park. The movie will be “The Wiz.” Be prepared for a hike to learn about bird communication. Join the Sterchi Farm’s Early Bird Hike starting at 8 AM. You can also visit the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum between 11AM and 5PM.
This event is open to the public and has many shows. The park will be hosting End of the Line, an Allman Brothers tribute band. They’ll be playing their biggest hit songs. In-Town Gallery will host a Food for the Body or Soul celebration. There are many ways to participate in this no-cost event all are welcome to join in! Take a look some of them:
Formal tuxedos
In a summer wedding, or high-end cruises, a dressy Tuxedo is a popular selection. This style of tuxedo has a cool look and is distinct from the crowd. This outfit is suitable for formal events or weddings outdoors. The black tuxedo pants look stunning in white dresses, shirts and suspenders. This is an elegant way to stand out during the community’s annual celebration.
The formal tuxedos that are required for this community day are perfect for this event that runs from 11am until 2:30pm. The parade will pass to the library, which is where an event for tuxedos will be at the library. DJ George Carney and balloon artist Matt Stevens will entertain the crowd with live music. There will be food , and activities for children of all ages and Jester Jim for entertainment and give autographs.
Petting zoo
On the 27th of April on a Saturday, the Good Green Earth will host the petting-zoo on White Oak Community Day. Located just behind the Ring Toss Petting Zoo will include baby goats, rabbits, chickensand ducks and the pig with the pot belly. Young and old alike can take part in this fun activity. Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce hosts the event.
